• Dermaplaning Pre-Post Treatment

Dermaplaning is an exfoliation technique that uses small blades to slough off the dead skin cells, vellus hair, commonly known as “peach fuzz”. It is a suitable treatment for those who have sensitive skin. It can be done as an independent procedure or can be an add on to any of the medical-grade facial treatments.

    Before & After

    • It is a form of manual exfoliation used to remove dead skin cells from the surface and excess build-up from the pores.
    • It also temporarily removes fine facial hairs but doesn’t stimulate hair growth.
    • A medical-grade sterile blade is used to shave off dead skin cells from the epidermis.

Dermaplaning will not cause fine, vellus hair to grow back thicker or darker.

    • Clients with dry or dehydrated skin
    • Clients with a dull complexion

    Clients with:

    • Acne-prone skin
    • Rosacea
    • Phobia of sharp objects
    • Active skin infection

It is advised to get Dermaplaning once a month to stimulate healthy skin turnover.

The treatment lasts about 30-45 minutes.

    • Little pink or slightly swollen skin (at the extraction site, which is temporary and will subside within 24 hours).
    • Skin will be smooth, hydrating & glowing.
    • You’ll be given post-care instructions to follow.
    • Your consultant might also recommend some topical creams, serums, and medical-grade sunblock for optimal long term results.
